In August of 1985, a single performer set out to create an entertainment company which would emphasize quality above quantity and integrity above all. Now, more than 20 years later, Creative Deejays has grown to become one of the most respected entertainment companies in the country with offices on both coasts serving a relatively small but extremely loyal client base.
In any given year, approximately 85-90% of our 500 + bookings come from repeat customers, word of mouth referrals, and any one of the several dozen venues which recommend us to their clients. This unparalleled reputation stems largely from a decision we made almost 20 years ago to break from the conventional “talent agency” model which is used by nearly every other entertainment company in the area.
Instead of employing a mass of independent contractors each with their own equipment, music, and personal style quirks, we decided to standardize every part of our service to strictly control performance quality and customer service. Each new member of our staff is trained extensively in our upbeat but never “cheesy” style and fully equipped with professionally maintained music and equipment. We add to this full back-up equipment for each and every entertainer plus back-up copies of all of your most important requests. And, since we regularly train together, our performers are completely comfortable and experienced in working together for a true interactive party experience.
This novel approach to our profession has earned us a customer satisfaction rate above 99.9% and not one minute of lost show time due to an equipment malfunction. We also have been on-site and ready to go for every party that has ever booked with us in the history of our company. Frankly, we know of no other company that can truthfully say the same.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that though we have a long and very successful company history, we are a relatively young company in the sense that nearly all of our dozen entertainers are in their 20’s to mid 30’s. We tend to hire individuals in this age range because they are young enough to still have the energy and enthusiasm necessary to be a great DJ, but are old enough to have the experience and maturity that makes even the most formal of events succeed.
