Wedding Planning:

Planning out your special day could not be more important to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that your wishes are followed. Our planning process is designed to be as easy and accurate as possible to take the stress out of designing your wedding. Our clients often want to know how the planning process should be progressing so we have written a very detailed description of the process here. Some couples want ALL of the information, and some like to skim through. Either way, you should end up with a great idea of how carefully we have crafted our service to make your wedding a huge success!

First Contact:
1. During your first contact with our office or during a visit to our showroom (which we encourage!), one of our event planners will usually ask you a fair amount of questions to find out what kind of entertainment you are looking for and what kind of mood you would like to create. If, from your description, it sounds like you would be better served by a company with a different style or if we are sold out, we will gladly refer you to another local company.
2. Once we have established what your needs are, we will then begin to design an event package for you that meets you needs and hopefully is also able to stay within whatever budget you have allotted for your wedding entertainment. Our services are very competitively priced and the value we provide is far superior to other local companies.
3. Once we agree on a package, a contract will be immediately sent to you via e-mail (or fax/postal mail if you prefer) for your review. We ask for a 50% deposit along with the signed contract to reserve the event date. If you have any additional questions about the Performance Agreement or any other aspect of the service, please ask them at this point because we want to make sure that you are totally comfortable with the booking process.

Contract and Deposit Received!
1. Once we have received the signed contract and deposit, you will get two more e-mails almost immediately. Once will be a receipt for your payment (which also lets you know that the date has been confirmed) and the other will be an e-mail which contains log in information for the private area of our website. Each couple will be given their own password protected area of our website which will contain any number of different tools to help you plan your wedding.
2. Each of the tools such as the event planner, interactive music search/request form, timeline, etc. are available 24 hours a day from any computer with an internet connection to give you 100% flexibility to plan at your leisure or as the inspiration comes. All of your work is also savable so that you can come back to it over many months and update it as often as you like. These tools will ultimately be formed into a plan that your DJ will use to keep your wedding running smoothly so please fill them out with care. If you have any questions or if there are items you do not understand, please put together a list of questions and then either e-mail it to us or call for prompt answers.
3. Once you have completed these planners, or at least have a good rough draft, you can press the "Submit" button on each form to have them automatically e-mailed to one of our event planners. Usually, about a month before the event, your planner will review these forms and then call you to set up a planning meeting.

The Wedding Planning Meeting:
1. This is usually a phone meeting between the couple and your event planner. The meeting can also be done in person if you wish but usually we find that it is unnecssary unless you need or would like a great deal of help picking particular songs. In this meeting we will take an in-depth look the information you submitted, ask questions, make suggestions, explain formalities, and do whatever else needs to be done to ensure a smooth progression between events and the creation of just the right atmosphere.
2. This meeting also gives us a much better idea of which of our performers would be best suited to fulfill your needs and compliment your personalities. Once the meeting is complete, a performer will be assigned to your event. We will provide them with all of your paperwork (the planning forms you filled out) and our music librarian will begin to pull your requests.
3. At this point, you can also make a final payment of any balance due.

Meet the DJ:
1. You will get a call from the person who will actually be performing at your event and all of the event details will be confirmed one last time to ensure total continuity of communication. This is also your opportunity to get to know the DJ a little bit, ask him/her any last minute questions, etc. We want to be sure that you are totally comfortable with the person who will be performing for you and that you have complete confidence that everything has been planned out to your satisfaction. You may of course also schedule an in-person meeting with your DJ if you would like to make sure that you are fully comfortable with the perfomer and all of the details.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please rise..."
1. On the day of your wedding, your DJ (s) will arrive (usually in casual clothes so as not to dirty his/her formal attire while loading equipment) approximately 1 hour before the time listed on your contract to set up, change, and meet your other vendors. Our schedule and planning forms will be checked against the forms of the other vendors and any discrepancies will be worked out usually before you even arrive. Then, you can just sit back and relax as we follow your plan to make your wedding perfect! Sound good? Wait until you see your guests DANCE!
